i found a JD 112, type T2316, serial 013677M....4spd, 10hp Tec. with round fenders.   its a little rough, but looks 90% original. what is a "rough" estimate of its worth? thanks- Jim.

If you are asking about this one on Salem, Ore. craigslist for $295, then YES is it worth that.  Hydraulic lift on a 112 is a somewhat rare feature.  Go for it!

while you're at it you should buy this roto-tiller for it too.  $75 bucks is a really good price!

Jim, the hydraulic lift is worth almost the asking price. Great deal, too bad it's not closer to me.

Tell her that at least your not chasing other women or sitting in a bar all night.

You can see where the money is going, she may not agree with it but she can still see it. :smilewink:

It seems like a decent deal with the hydraulics   I hope you get it.  Plant a big garden on the infield of your racing track.

The rototiller is actually a Model 31, and is set up for a flat fendered 110/112. The rototiller won't do you a bit of good if you don't have the rear lifting pieces. It appears that the hitch bracket and intermediate drive are included with the tiller, so you could sell them and use that money towards buying the lifting pieces. If you go on ebay, and do a search under John Deere Hitch, you will find there is a guy selling repreduction lifting pieces that he made up. They seem to be well done, but he is expensive in my opinion.

The tractor looks to be complete as you stated, at least from what we can see. It would be nice to see the right side of the tractor to see if the pto shield is attached. As for the price, that is a great deal, as long as the motor runs and the transmission is sound.

Good Luck, and if you need help, just ask away. We will give you all the advice that we can.

Troy

well, i am going to go look at it tomorrow evening, and see what kind of condition the whole thing is in. the guy said it hasnt run in close to 15 years, but, has been parked under a shed since. depending on what i think, i will make an offer, and see if it will come home this weekend.
