I thought about buying a rain gauge the other day, but I didn't want to spend money on something i might not need.

How can it be rusted out if you haven't had rain? Maybe filled with dust.
We are supposed to get rain tomorrow with some heavy T-Storms.

You don't have to worry about that here. It has to rain first.

I'm glad you have rain. I hope it's the long, soaking kind you need there.

The forecast called for 1/2 to 1". We need at least a foot, just to catch up.

Rained here in NE Ohio too.
But that's to be expected, as I went to pick up a Bolens EK7 that I bought on eBay a week or two ago.
Every, and I do mean EVERY tractor/attachment road trip I go on involves rain. It's never failed.

We've gotten .94 inches so far. It's very welcome. Need a lot more to fill the lakes up.
