Had several get into the manure pit, so I know what a green cow actually looks like!   And JBBR... the 140 is a great tractor!

And smell like, I grew up milking cows too!  ~~  Lowell

Man, if I run across a 300 series Massey, I'd HAVE to buy it!  Those are some heavy duty tractors!

I wish you the best with your John Deere, and I realize it's personal preference........But I just don't understand it.

I put my sleeve hitch on and finally got around to getting some pics of the 140.

Some folks might think I'm crazy for tradin the Massey for the JD, but I like what the JD can do right out of the box.  And parts are more common and easier to come by for the JD.  It is one heck of an investment to make the Massey do more than just mow.  Have you seen what a sleeve hitch and the 2-way valve on the back of the tractor for running a tiller cost?  I have been trying to sell the Massey for awhile, but it is not a familiar enough tractor for people to be wanting to buy. The guy I traded it to is a gt guy, and knew what it was.  He even has it back up for sale on craigs right now.  And for what I actually had invested in the Massey, I came out a little ahead by trading for the 140 with the 4-way snowplow.

Fine looking tractor. There is something special about those 140H3's.

Those 4 way plows cost good money!  Nice looking 140 too!  Meangreen, my bro-in-law may get his finished one of these days.
