This week I recv'd a parts manual, that I bought off Ebay.

According to it, they do exist. And, to make things more interesting ( :D more shopping), I discovered

while looking through the manual, that there was actually 3 versions of the 24s tiller

steer. Pay attention to the tiller, serial #'s, and cowl in this series of parts breakdowns.

I have one of the 7001 and up serial# models. Still need to find one of each of the

other 2.

So how many did they make?

If they made 7000 + of them there must be some around somewhere.

Hard to say. From before 4001, to past 7000.

I've never seen a pic, of the 4000 to 7000 version, with the plate gusset on the

steering tiller.

Here's a picture of one I took last yr at a show, # 33,5?2

If done in sequence they made at least that many total.

That I don't know. Possibly a Moto-Mower version, as they had one of the Deluxe. They where made

by Dura Corp. for MF, Moto, as well as Gutbrod (they made the Elf).
