No more rental trailers for me! I just came back from a road trip with a brand new trailer :dancingbanana:  :dancingbanana:

Place down in East Central Ohio, had a nice landscape trailer advertised on the net, at a price better than I could fine used ones for, so I pulled the trigger on it.

It measures 83" x 14'.  That's INSIDE dimensions.  It has helper springs on the drop down gate which is a plus for an old fart like me.

I should be able to get a large frame and a tube frame side by side on it. Plus, if they don't have any attachments, I can get a large frame and a tube frame end to end on it as well.  That means that in a best case senario, I can get 4 tractors on it to take to the Wellington show this fall.

It will get it's 'maiden voyage' tomorrow when I go pickup the EK7.

And yes, as with all my tractor related purchases....it rained on the trip.

I'll post pics when I get home with the EK7 tomorrow.

I certainly hope that the weather is 1/2 way decent when you make the trip.  All we've been getting here is cold and snow, and when it warms up...rain.

I would REALLY like to get a chance to work on the 1886FL and get it running.

Shucks, if it's running by then, maybe I can get a video of you using it to load up the thatcher :D :D :D :D

Congrats on the trailer. I think they need you to take a a few runs through the dry area of Texas this summer to pick up some tractors. They could sure use the rain!

Congrats on the new trailer.  You should start shopping for new tires

for it already. At the rate you've been bringing the treasures home, you'll

have them worn down in no time! :smilewink:

Really looking forward to the pics of the trailer. Sounds like something that would work well for me. I have kind of outgrown my converted boat trailer.

If you can get there before they remove it from inventory, this is the one I got.

Congratulations on the trailer.  It sure will be nice for you to have your own.  That one sounds like a very handy size.

I've been keeping an eye out for one this wide for quite some time now.

Seems like the vast majority sold are either 6' wide or 77" wide. Finding one close to 7' isn't easy.

This will actually give me more seat time too, as I will be able to take tractors to the Glider Field, for doing some work there when it's needed.  There are places there where the Sickle-Mo and Flail-Mo can get a good workout :D :D

Before, at $39.00 a day for the rental, it was just too much $$.
