well i got the head gaskets put on the 1810 today and she fired right up i think the carb needs a little work it dosent want to run with the choke all the way open

went and picked up the cub 1200 today it looks a little rough but it should be a fairly easy repaint and it runs great

I'd say thats a pretty straight good lookign machine.  If when I'm looking at a unit and I know it is going to be repainted I look solely at what the unit runs like and looks like.  That unit would definately meet those criteria and would be in my garage.  Does it have the sideshields with it?

yeah its got the side sheilds and deck with it i think it came with the 50 inch deck from the 1810

i need to find a grille for it or something to put in there ot looks like  the had something that looked like expanded metal but it was plastic

all i can say its got for rust is just where the pant was scratched a little bit and the scratches surface rusted underneath is clean it dont look like its been beat up with tall grass
