Well today I was repairing the plastic tang on a steering shaft cover and I wanted to cool it down quickly.  I stuck in the refrigerator and then just went in and told the wife it was there.  She said OK do I need to check on it at any point.  I told her now I'll be back in a few to get it.  We've been married 27 years.

As the Christmas tree was being undecorated this year, I said to the wife, that I was

going to bring the Elf in to the spot where he tree was. I wanted to get a bit more heat at the not

fully cured paint.

Sometimes I wake up now, shaking, and sweating. And I always have this same vision burnt into my

mind. Same as the day, the tree came down.

Maybe if you paint the elf  PINK  it might help.

Nice Jack. Good to see that your wife gave you a access hole.

My wife's OK with pretty much everything I've "cleaned" in the kitchen dishwasher...  and she's OK with pretty much all the mechanical activities that have happened in the sink.  This is because I myself clean up all the blood spatter after I finally get the bleeding stopped.  She did complain once after coming home during the casting of the 400+ .44cal. lead balls even though BIL and I had the stove exhaust fan on...  I of course, NEVER complain about the odor of nail polish remover.  One must give AND take in marriage!

There's something about deisel fuel on the tablecloth that "T's" me off, but hey, that's a minor bump on life's road if you really think about it. Mind you, when I'm untangling a bunch of fish line on the same table I move the tablecloth first!  Things tend to work out in the end.

That picture reminds me of the old movie "Catch 22", guy was in the hospital bed totally wrapped up with IV & catheter, nurse came in & switched bottles!

(Replacing the empty IV bottle with the full catheter bottle).

My wife could care less what I do in the house as long as it is cleanable. A while back I sanded the hood to the DragonFly in my office she came in a rolled her eyes. I told her I had just bought her a new vacuum cleaner so it was no problem. And, yes, she vacuumed when I got thru. We have put all kinds of parts in the dishwasher and she has even cleaned parts in the sink. I just hand it to her and tell her to clean it up and it is done. She actually enjoys it.
