Got up to a balmy 12 degrees with a nice stiff breeze, great day to go stand out in the biggest field around and watch the races. The local snow mobile club, Lisbon Stump Jumpers, has put on these races for vintage snow machines for 7-8 years now, gotten to be quite a popular sport in this area. My wife volunteers in the cook shack and I spent some time track side and in the "pits" Several different classes, and for most, the sleds can not be newer than 1973. For many this is a serious sport and for a couple of the top classes there is prize $$ to be won.
