Congrats! Looks like a nice project, or use it as is! How much did it go for?

I'm just irritated now, I've wanted one forever and a PK is the "one I'll own before I die" tractor for me, the golden child, the ONE.  You will never see them go for less than a grand round here......completely jealous.  Congrats to you!!

Wow! Make the rest of PK owners cry will ya!   How about that "plastic King" in truck?  What model is that and are you parting it?

$120 is correct. It has been sitting for about 5 years in an open pole barn. Engine turns over, brakes work, trans feels real good, steering box is messed up, but overall not to ban. The power king mower in the truck bed is a 1517 With the infamous plastic body 4 speed. Has a 48" deck and appears that it will run. I paid $50 for that one.

I looked before on my phone (small pictures) and had not noticed that there was another in the truck bed! It looked like a newer simplicity to me. Congrats on that one too!

With the long hood and old mounting style, the one on the trailer is most likely a '73. If you get a serial number, we will know for sure.

That's a heck of a deal, Ron. Does the newer one have parts missing?

What's 'infamous' about the plastic king 4-speed?
