Is that steering wheel 15" diameter with a 3/4 shaft?

Jerome, It is a 15" x 3/4" ID. hub x 3' dish.

This might be what you are looking for. It is the page out of the 1963 Wards Farm catalog that shows the Wards garden tractor built by Bolens. Steve

Wow what a find!

First documented evidence of the elusive creature!

Any chance you can scan it and upload it to the manuals section?

Jerome, Thanks for posting this photo. I see I'm on the right track on the paint. But see some things that I have wrong, can you post anymore photos of this Squire?

It appears that I now have to find the right seat pan after I just got one for a 600. Anyone seen this pan on any other brand of tractor?

I don't know if this would be another one. Sheboygan WI CL look up Montgomery Wards Garden Mark Squire. (I'd post a link but never works when I do) No pics or price. I don't know if there were other models and years with the same name or not.

Interesting ad Steve.

Just for grins and giggles, I ran that price through an inflation calculator.

That $469.50 in 1963 is equivalent to $3,522.69 in 2012 dollars!

I got my 1963 M/W Spring & Summer Catalog today, It still has the Simplicity 725 as their GT. I guess the M/W Farm Catalog must have been printed later in the year. Still has some great stuff in it.

Wow, I guess it's true. Things are bigger in Texas.
