Jerome, It is bolted on, does this help date the tractor.

I also came up with another seat pan, It was on out Standard 5000. But I have been told that it's not the right seat pan for the Standard..

Its got to be a late 1962' or a 1963

The seat pan would be a good match for the tractor. It is the exact same style as the Bolens one would be except for the mounting hole in the middle, but that really wont matter to much.

Thanks Doc.,

Bolens was building them for M/W only in 1963, from what I've been told.

I could weld up the extra holes.

Isn't it only supposed to have only 2 holes for bolt it across the seat?

I did a little more sanding on the hood and grill before I put them in the E-tank. I think the grill had a decal or paint in it.

I also think that the side of the hood had a whit stripe down it.

Thanks Doc., I have those too from somewhere. The last picture looks like a stripe down the side. It's hard to tell about the grill.

I remember when we where looking for info before find a picture of one in a lot better shape paint wise. I didn't save it and can't find it anymore. :wallbanging:
