I would at least try to get it off. Someone else might be able to use the spare wheel!

I had a problem. i looked underneath, and the dumace guy i got it from welded wheel to shaft :shoot2:  :mad2: . Sadly, i cut it. I can get a shaft on ebay for 50 bucks. Plus i tood gearbox apart, the pearings litarally were in pieces. the balls were split and the metal was destroyed. Thanks for advice though!

I also got EXTREMELY FAR today!!! :dancingbanana:  :beerchug:  :dancingbanana:

Got it to frame, hydro and lower steering. iso mounts were ok, but 2 of the bottom ones were missing. But i think the hydro fluid is not good. Its not supposed to be black is it? This does not seem right... What do you think? how is my progress after 2-3 weeks?

Sorry to hear the wheel was welded. Sounds like the whole box is in very bad shape.

At least you are getting it apart. I don't think that fluid has been changed for a while!

For me, that would all depend on the condition of the existing paint and what I want it to look like when done. If there are numerous chips and rusty spots, I would look into what it will take to get it smooth again. Are you using a spray gun or cans? I don't always go back to bare metal if the paint is sticking real good, but then you have to watch that the new paint isn't going to react with the old. Primer can solve some of those issues. But I'm not that well versed on different paint and primers.

Here are some better pictures... I think i will bring the frame and any part repainted twice to bare metal but the parts with original paint i will sand to where it is smooth and prime.
