im just wondering if anyone may have 2 - 1 gig sticks of DDR PC 2700 non ECC laptop memory ? 

if you do please let me know. im trying to get this other laptop going for the wife. the most it will take is 2 gig.

I thought I did, but it was 2 sticks of 512 memory. Sorry, no help here.

Sorry DS, I have all kinds of Desktop memory but not much laptop and I checked what I do have and no Joy.

Hi I have a Kingston 1 Gig. this is what is on the package. New in the package if anyone here can use it just shoot me a mailing address and it is yours. This is new in the package !!

How do i figure out what type of memory my laptop uses?

if you run windows you can go to http://www.crucial.com/ and run the scan and it will tell you what ram you have

I have the following memory removed from HP DV series laptops:

 

4 sticks - 512 Megs PC2-5300

 

I also have the following ram removed from a Aluminum body Macbook:

2 sticks - 1 GB PC3-8500

 

Not sure if this will help anyone in this thread,
