He is willing to sell the tires only for $125....that sounds like a good deal to me.

it is hard to tell the age of the tires from the pics. They might just need a good scrubbing, but they look a little old. I think I would check for cracks in the side wall before I got out the money.

I bought a set of new AT101's from a local tire store for $65 each. They were special order and the guy never showed up to get them. They were ready to deal just to get them off the books.

I wish I had a time machine to go back and get the set of 29x12x15 big lug turfs I bought back in the mid 80's for almost nothing, they would have fit the LGT195 real good.

The moral of the story is to check the local tire shops, they might just have the tires you are looking for at a good price. You just gotta ask.

Good suggestion on checking the tires for cracking etc. The ones I bought we like the seller had said....and looked to be in good condition.....I soaked them down with armorall for a couple of days....(actually used Dollar General brand)....then when it was 70 plus degrees a week or so ago.....I took them off the ATV rims they were on......no cracks, tears, etc....I was pleased with how they came out. Will look good on my HD-12

Nice looking wheels. The tires may just have been sitting around for a while. Those rims can be hard to get at a reasonable price.

Just by looking at the way the tires are humped up, I would guess the wheels are 9.5x12 s

I know there are a few differences between the goodyear and carlisles, but this is what a 26x12x12 looks like on an 11" wheel

There are 2 ways to look at it. The more rounded tire has kind of a progressive tread, the more it digs down, the more surface area you gain. While the flatter tread starts out wide and works better on a harder surface
