It's about 2.5 hours from Corning, you can take 13 almost the whole way here.

Bring what you got! All tractors are welcome! I enjoy looking at the shiney ones, and I mow 20 acres with a 1954 Ford 850 and a John Deere 212. Every tractor was made to get a job done.

I received a call from the Brookfield Garden Tractor Pullers about non-members being able to pull their tractors at this show. Anyone who would like to pull a stock garden tractor can pay a One-Day membership fee of $15, for insurance purposes, and that will include 1 hook up. Additional hook ups will be $5. Anyone who has a pulling tractor, that fits in one of the classes, and wants to pull and compete, can also pay the One Day membership fee of $15 and it will be $10 per hook up. THANKS!

Hope you can make it Al. There is also the new Bouckville Classics car show running the same weekend. Plenty to do and see! I've updated the camping information on my webpage, www.quakeracreswest.com/farm.htm

A little update. The past week has been busy! I met with the CNY Antique Tractor Club last Wednesday and received a lot of great input about the show. My phone has been ringing and more tractors, multiple hit and miss engines, and other equipment displays are coming.

Also, the Madison FFA will be setting up an educational "Dairy Industry" display. Possibly with a calf on hand, and selling ice cream for a fundraiser. Things are shaping up nicely!

Things are coming along extremely well! So far, I am expecting 350+ tractors, hit & miss engines, and equipment displays. And I expect that to grow over the next 2 months.

Food vendor spaces are filled and vendors are signing up daily. I spent the weekend working on a field map for the show. That will be posted on my website as soon as it's finalized. There's alot of buzz about the show!

We have started radio advertising which will run til the show. TV spots will start 2 weeks prior to the show. The advertising is for both my Farm & Family show and the Bouckville Classics caricon1.png show the same weekend. Also, we will have a shuttle bus running between the two events throughout the weekend. It's only about 2000' between the shows, but I think the shuttle bus will help.

One schedule change is that The Bruce Beadle Bandicon1.png will now be playing Saturday at 6pm, rather than Friday. The Beadle Brothers are playing 1-3pm Sunday. I haven't decided what to do Friday evening. But, since we have a 40'x120' tent, stage, and professional sound/light system set up, I'm thinking we ought to use it Friday evening too!

With over 65 years in business and 4 stores servicing central NY and our local community, I am excited that they decided to be a large part of our event! Plans have been made for our tractor pulling track and more! With White’s Farm Supply expertise and support, The Quaker Acres West Farm & Family Show just went from great to off the charts!!! A lot is developing quickly, I’ll keep you all posted and updating my website often!

And, speaking of charts… I’d like to CONGRATULATE THE BEADLE BROTHERS!!! Their single “Back to the Country” hit #1 on the Indie Country Charts and it was announced today that they broke into the Top 20 Main Country Chart at #19! Again, this is a show you don’t want to miss Sunday at Quaker Acres West!

Please check out White’s Farm Supply at http://www.whitesfarmsupply.com/ and keep an eye on http://www.quakeracr...st.com/farm.htm. The show is just over 4 weeks away and a lot is coming together quickly. It’s going to be a great time!
