Seven hours ago, it was just 06:00 am in germany, I looked outside the window and saw: winter is back again! Over night we got 6'' fresh snow.

Next I looked outside the window, hoping Harold will come around the corner with his Johnny plowing the snow in front of my house away - but nothing happened.

So I shoveled the snow away (first in Pyjama, don't ask me why) and sweeped snow from the cars...

Next was riding to work. The 15 miles took one and a quater hour, because some drivers were a lil afraid (why don't this people stay at home or buy some winter tyres?).

Thanx heaven for the 4WD, hope winter will stay for a while

Yes,from those photos,I'd say it's back.

I was watching the news yesterday, and saw that Tokyo, Japan got a big snow storm. Maybe that's not unusual, but I didn't realize they got snow like that.

Yesterday it was sunny and 53F here, today 28F and cloudy with snow tonight. Winter is back. My house is solar heated so the clouds prevent the house from warming up.

Our house is solar heated, too. When sun is shining, the snow is gliding very fast from the panels.

Edit: ...and landing in my wifes brand new rose tree. :bs:

I don't have panels. I designed and built my house as passive solar heated. The only things that go wrong are clouds and the glass doors loosing their seals with time. But, either way solar saves fuel and money.

Yeah! 52 Saturady, I graded the lane and fired up the smoker and smoked a pork roast(for pulled pork) and 2 briskets for a church supper.

Sunday the high was 18 degrees and got an inch of snow, and this morning it was -2 below 0, when I left the house.

Same as CT, but our local weather can't make up their mind to what we are supposed to get for snow. I can't stand watching three different stations and getting three different answers. A dusting to 6 inches is what I am hearing.

We were supposed to wake up to a similar amount of snow here as well.  Well, no snow.  It's in the 20s and may snow later.

"...hoping Harold will come around the corner with his Johnny plowing the snow in front of my house away - but nothing happened."

Sorry about that, had trouble with "Customs" so I came back home.:D

I just looked out here and sometime after dark we had another "blizzard" that dropped a micro-metric sub-dusting of snow...  "Lake effect snow" is just about worn out by the time it gets down here.:D
