The 1886FL has some really small tires on the front, and I would like to put larger tires there.

What's there now are the narrow 8" wheels with a pair of 5.90x8 tires on them.

Now my other 1886 has the wide 10" with 20x8x10 tires, which would be better for load carrying.

What I would really like to have are 8" wide rims so that I could put a pair of 18x8.50-8 Vredestein 6 Ply tires on it like I have on the HDT1000.

I have an extra pair of the 8" 4-lug tires for the HTs, which the V61s will fit.  Someone suggested that I could replace the spindles on the 1886-01 with spindles from an HT20-23.  Would that be a viable option? What would be the pros and cons?

OB I see no one has responded to you yet.  I believe someone over on the other site has done that. I think they changed the hubs and king pins. Not sure if spindles means the hubs or not. Sometimes we call the same part three different names. hope this helps and bumps to the top for you.

Hi Guys, the Ht spindles and hubs will swap out, I did this on my 1886 a few years ago,the wider heavier tires worked real well with the loader on it not a hard job to do,an hr and your up and running, any questions or if you need the parts I have them, Rick

I'll be getting in touch with you on that Rick.

Probably won't be until spring when it gets a lot warmer though :D
