I have had this blade for several years, got it with a couple of simplicity tractors and parts.I'm fairly sure its not a simplicity plow.It is mounted on my 1960 simplicity 700 with my simplicity plow frame but it doesn't fit it correctly.Anyone think that they may know what brand of plow this is?

It kinda looks like the plow for my old Chor Trac walk behind. What happened to the Simplicity's hood?

Those feet remind me of the blade that came with the old Gilson that I used to have.

As for the hood,i don't know.I pulled this thing out of the woods beside a pond from a friends farm twenty years ago.If you think i looks rough now you should have seen it then.I have repainted most of the sheetmetal over the years, changed out the front axle etc.I have pictures of the tractor torn clear down from several times over the years.

How wide apart and what do the ends look like that fasten at the tractor mounts?  Does it look like factory welds or may be a homemade hitch?  For sure not Simplicity.

"For sure not Simplicity." The plow Maynard, The plow!! :poke:  :poke:  :smilewink:

It does look like a Ward/Gilson plow.I've had 2 different Gilson plows in the past,1 had the spring trip blade and the other did not.The construction of the plow and Those feet are a dead give away.It was for an old mid 1960s to late 1970s Gilson/Montgomery wards GT.

Those feet remind me of the blade that came with the old Gilson that I used to have.
