Tecumseh HH120 Ignition Module

On the screw terminal for the small wire should that get B+ or is it closed to ground to shut the engine down.

I am going to be working on my mf12 then and I will try and remember to take a look at mine and let you know if someone doesn't beat me to it LOL.

Kill ground terminal. Put 12v to that & goodbye module!! ......I beat ya George! lol
can you explain a little more for me? ive a problem with module and would love to find a way to fix the problem

The wire coming from the module to the plastic terminal block on the fan cover is for grounding the ignition to kill the circuit. If someone puts the wrong switch (IGN terminal on wrong type switch key switch)on this and sends 12VDC to this ground terminal, then it fries the ignition, or at least part of it. The correct key switch will have an "M" which connects to the kill wire on the engine.

I just got seven more boxes of Tecumseh and there was two 610748 new in the box plus lots off other goodies
