Bolens QT17 Steering Wheel Removal

Well the nut or bolt had broke off, tell me it' s a bolt head. How do I get the wheel off now, I need a puller, but what kind. Thanks, Bill

I never seen a QT up close so I'm not sure what the wheel's components are like. The best I can give you is this diagram...

A bearing separator should work good to remove the steering wheel.

That should work pretty good and I've seen them fairly cheap at Harbor Freight. You can cushion the backside of the wheel with a towel to keep from marking it up too.

yea i tried for a week to get mine off even with a puller I just gave up
