Good morning. It may seem as though I've put the cart before the horse but nonetheless I'm in the market for an Operator & Service Manual for my '71 CASE 444 (SN #9652632) and ahead of shelling out $10 for the manual and another $9 for shipping and handling I didn't know if anyone out there has these manuals they would be willing to send to me. If you have them in hard copy I would be willing to scan them and post them if you'd be trusting and willing enough to mail them to me; PM if you are interested. Oh, and I'd pick up postage round trip as well.

If they are already posted and I've missed them point me in the right direction please. Thanks.

It would appear to be just the one I was looking for. How did I miss it? I guess I was looking for one for just 444 and overlooked this one? Thanks again.

P.S. The Case world is a little different than most, as all Case owners come to know.

Oh Kenny,

I thought we had a slam dunk here but based upon closer inspection (see pic from a page in the manual below) it appears I need an earlier manual as my PIN is 9652632. Would I be correct or am I giving John even more reason to reinforce the ROOKIE label?

Thanks.

Matt, I believe you are looking for the Holy Grail 444 manual , I wouldn't worry to much. Use the one you have, usually it will get you there. Most times a different manual is started for the same model # due to a new vendor sourced part, not a major redesigned of the tractor, as you know by now has never really been done, why mess with perfection  :D

I have one. 9-2862? If your looking for a particular page I can scan it. I don't really want to do the whole thing because I have no software to compile a PDF.

I'll let you know what I need. I'm going to use the one I pulled off the site and see how well if cross references with my machine. Wish you lived closer, I'd pop over to the office and scan your manual in a jiffy. Thanks.

Moosetales do you happen to have the wiring diagram for the '71 or know if it's different then the '72+ diagram?

Chris,

Hi. Just getting around to checking in here and saw you were looking for a wiring diagram. If you still need it let me know. Thanks.

Matthew
