On the back of the tractor you will or should have a sticker (it should be right above where a trailer hitch ball would go) and it will start out like MOG275- - - - - - - , get those for me and I will give you year. Mine is a 1996.

1995 numbers above 045001

1996 numbers above 055001

1997 numbers above 070001

1998 numbers above 090001

Dick

Yes to early, as far as hours,

yes to low hours but who to say it wasn't disconnected for a few years? Just like buying a used car (unless) you know PO.

The hour meter to me is just another tool along with the overall condition of tractor ie: paint fade/wear, deck , roundness of mounting holes, etc. More importantly use the hour meter now to time tractor maintenance and have fun.

If those are the real numbers it is good. Mine has 16_ _  by the hour meter. Mine runs good, no smoke and so far no problems other than a

V/R.

Nice tractor. There's one for sale up here. A 1997 with a 40" Berco snowblower and a deck for 2500$. It looks a bit rough in the pictures.

It is. We pay much higher prices up here. It's pretty amazing some of the deals you folks get in the USA. It's still a bit high even for here and it's been listed 2 times and hasn't sold.
