Have three Kohler engines, not sure what out of, mabey JD, mabey other. Thinking one is a K321, the other two are either K301 or K241 (not opening them). No starters, no carbs. Turn over, have tin. No pics, just heavy, will not ship. Not sure what to do with them, would like to get some money out of them. Starting negotiations at $100 each. Paid more for them than that.

Casey, They should be casting numbers on the pto side of the block saying  K-241, K-301 and K-321. Also they have different number of head bolts. I'll look and see if I can find my file on how many on each.

Brian, the head bolts I am good on for the difference between the 14 Hp K321 and the other 10/12 Hp K241 and K301. But the latter two use the same pattern as each other. Not sure on the castings in the blocks, did not know that trick.

The K321, K301 and K241 all have 9 head bolts. Like Brian said, there should be a number the block; I believe it should be located directly under the crankshaft.

no ryan mine are above the crank in the depression and some 241's are marked with 301 because for a few years they used the 301 to make the 241 just didn't bore to the 301 spec , i have one of these motors and the sheet metal says 10HP and the casting numbers say 301 for the 12HP , so before you throw away a weak 10HP check and see if the block is a 301 and bore it :smilewink:
