This obviously isn't real, rather someones idea of mocking the assault rifle ban but I think its great anyway and would buy one if they ever did make it for no other purpose than to say I had one.....and to play with of course......lol

Cool! But of course you won't be able to put more than 5 nails in it at a time... I still want to see a ban on "tour busses", they've injured more people in the last year than wack-o's with assault rifles.

if you search deadliest, most common device used in murders across US, will come up as a hammer 9/10 times

Do a search for stupid warning labels, they had a warning label on a hammer that said more or less "dont hit anyone on the head with this, it could kill them"
Deadliest animal in the US....white tail deer.

The picture of the Dewalt nail gun has been going around for a couple years now. Seems like it just recently made a reappearance.

It is my understanding that the ball pein hammer is the weapon of choice to at last one of the major motorcycle gangs. No laws about carrying or concealing a hammer.

But soon they will be limited to 5 swings per hammer thus reducing the gang violence to a more manageable level.

Don't worry. The vice president is studying the issue now and will issue his recommendations next week.

First thing the VP will do is to address the "steel shot cushioned hammer" problem. It will no longer be accepted to call it a "dead blow hammer". I also believe that "hammer drills" will be limited in the amount of strikes per hole.
I wish they'd limit the amount of sales "magazines" that infiltrate my mailbox every day. They make me have bad dark thoughts about harming the postman.

Looking at the CDC report for 2010 and preliminary 2011 (http://www.cdc.gov/n...1/nvsr61_06.pdf)- for 2011;
There were more alcohol induced deaths (26,000) and drug induced deaths (40,000), than than total injury(death) by firearm (32,000).
Of total assaults resulting in homicide (15,000), apx 1 in 3 (4,800) was committed with some weapon other than a firearm.
More people die each year of liver disease (33,000), traffic crash (37,000), influenza/pnumonia (53,000), Alzheimers disease (83,000), diabetes (73,000), or even colon/rectal cancer (52,000) than firearm related deaths (32,000)
Even among 38,000 suicides, only 1/2 were gun related...
Of the 2.5 million people who died in 2011, 1/5 died of cancer, 700,000 died of cardiovascular disease, accidents and unintentional events accounted for 122,000. All firearm related deaths make up less than 1.5% of the total.
Seems like there are better places to spend our limited debt ridden funding on reducing mortality rates.....
