I happened to do a search on CL this morning and came across a snow blower and snow blade. I am not 100% sure whether they will mount right up or not but I do know the snow blower is for a narrow frame cub which my 147 is so I am hoping it will work with not much modifications. I have heard a lot of people modifying the snow blades to fit one or the other so I don't think that would be a problem. Here is a link to the CL add: CUB CADET SNOW PLOW AND SNOW THOWER

I am going up tonight after helping a coworker cut down a pear tree to pick the stuff up. It is about an hour north of my work and about an hour and 45 minutes from the house. Will be a late night but I couldn't pass on the price.

That was a cheap price, especially in the superb condition they appear to be.

I got home around 9 last night. I had a bed full of mulch from the coworkers pear tree and he still had a lot of limbs to clean up. That had to be one of the biggest pear trees I ever seen. We loaded some of the good wood and there is still some more to load which I will get one day after work on the way home. I also picked up the container for my future electrolysis projects thanks to olcowhand's post. Then I headed up an hour north to get the snow blower and blade. The guy bought em at auction so if he sold them that cheap to me I can only imagine what little he paid for them. Then I drove the 2 hours home. I will take pics of the stuff today after we get the other two loads of firewood from another location. I still want to sandblast the grill from the parts MF10 I had bought and paint it to put on the MF12. I also ordered a HH120 gasket kit for the 12 also.

I got the snow blade mounted yesterday. I had to redo the brackets that go into the front quick hitch and the middle plate needed rewelded. I need to figure out what I need at the electric lift assembly for the lift rod to go in to. The rod is about 6" too short but I think there is supposed to be another piece that bolts on to the lift assembly on the tractor for the lift rod to go in to.

I am going to resell the snow blower. It is way too wide for the frame and although I could probably mount it with just some spacers I would sooner sell it and get one of the quick attach blowers that are meant for my style tractor. We already have a couple of snow blowers that work between the Massey MF12 and the Bolens dad has.

I sold the snow blower but I modified the dozer blade to work on my Cub 147. I need the one piece that goes on the electric lift to connect the lifting rod to. Which reminds me i need to find one and order it so it will be ready for winter.

No pics of it mounted yet. I gotta get the one piece for the lift and once I get that I will get it mounted and get some pics taken.

I also need the bracket that goes to the lift bracket for my blade. If you happen to have a pic I would be very pleased.

I know there are a couple places to possibly get the bracket, I think cub cadet warehouse is one of them and there is another one. I will definitely take a pic once I get the blade mounted and ready to go.

I just haven't been in a big hurry to get it yet but since winter is basically here I better get on the ball.
