I do, but that's a long drive for something I dont need right now. If it were closer I'd consider it.

Have yet to regret the trip to NH for mine as I felt they weren't available any/every day of the week .

I have one of those that is green and has decals saying radio. My wife uses it behind her little Agway for hauling topsoil and sand. Is there something special about these?

Thanks for posting the pics. I'm gathering the parts to build one of those next summer and the pics are very helpful.

I think I gave $100 for mine (un-restored), plus shipping:

HPIM3841 (Custom).JPG

Color is "New Cat Yellow", matches what was under the latch.

HPIM3843 (Custom).JPG

I just thought they look neat!

Here are pics of the under-carriage:

I noticed the one on CL had a reinforcement plate on top of the tongue, mine did too. So when I refurbished mine, I used 3/16" straps for the tongue instead of the original 1/8"!

As for being "like JD", no, this is my JD #30:

IMO it's just another case where form & function meet well. I guess when you've had things long, some don't have the same appeal as the thing you now want. The design & materials combined are rare in 'modern products' at a easy price point. Some like em some could care less, just another one o them things.

It's an hour twenty five drive there. I'm trying to talk myself out of it, as I don't need another project right now....BUT I could use it in the spring.... I'm sure someone will pick it up and enjoy it!

Is it me, or does it look like a wheel barrow w/o the handles?
