I have a 25 horse Onan that was rebuilt a few years ago and put away. It was repainted, carb rebuilt, new filters, gaskets, and seals, new air filter, new coil, new plugs, and new rings. I have bech tested it and it runs good. Has less than an hour of use since rebuild. So whats it worth?

Up here you could get easily $600 or more as these units are getting rare .. all the Deere guys are sucking them up for their 317s and 318s . No kidding...

I agree they sell high. I have seen listed for 600-1000. Well built engine parts getting hard to find.

I agree with the above. $500 to $1000. On the other hand, you are wheeling and dealing tractors. You might come out better to hang on to it until you come across a very cheap JD with a blown engine. Then you can put the engine in and have a very valuable tractor.

How's the homemade coming? That one is extremely cool. Good Luck.

Didn't you have a 318 you were parting out? I would put the 2 together.

I'd hang on to the motor, find a 318 thats blown up.

But up here that motor would be 1000 bucks any day of the week.

I have an Onan P220 engine that i am holding onto.It was on a J D F910 front deck mower, I am looking for good J D 318 for it. I could sell in my area easily for 600 if so desired. Just for information about price in my area could be defferent price in your area.
