I have a couple, a 1926 Novo that belonged to my grandfather, Was used to run his saw rig every fall, It sat under an old piece of canvas for many years after he quit using it and finally the house sold to other family members who hated to see it go to scrap, asked me if I wanted it and I passed it on to a friend who was interested. It sat in the corner of his shop for a few years while he slowly got things freed up and in the between times my interest in engines had taken off. Out of the blue one day he called me at work and said when you get home there will be something in your yard that you should have....... Grandpa's Novo had come back home. It still needs some work to run but it will get there soon.
The other true hit n miss is a little Sattley sold by Montgoery Wards, dates from about the same time period and is a runner. This came from a friend who was able to make a pkg deal on several engines that had belonged to an elderly family member, he didn't need 3 and knows this one didn't go too far as we set up together at our local show. Here is a short video of the Sattley at idle.
