My #1 son found this on Craigs.
Q 11XL Price free. I like that! Drove 45 Miles round trip.
Owner said it broke a valve. ??? Engine rolls pretty freely so I suspect a broken rod.
When we got it home I checked the serial tag and the model # says "1060" - serial # 0100850.
How does Bolens do there model #s? Hood does not match serial Tag???
And Do I have something here????????:confuse::confuse::confuse::confuse::confuse::confuse:

I just paid $50 for the one I grabbed. I'll upload the parts and service manuals that I found, but if you find an owners / operators manual that would be a nice thing to have. I believe that mine is an early model as well, in the first half of the serial No. range anyhow, as some of the under-hood sheet metal is different between the ranges. The serial No. "STICKER (*&$%#@%&)!" was missing from mine. Great find on your sons part!!
Well, I uploaded the manuals, but should've been a little more diligent in looking to see if they were already there. It would seem that NUTNDUN beat me to it. Sorry for the exact duplicates.

Sorry to keep everyone in suspense.
Been a hectic last few days.
So here we go.

I like the control center on these Bolens.
Quit busy.

When the OEM seat failed on this old girl, I suspect someone had to stand up at the dinner table.
