Our gas went down to $2.99 today. thats the lowest we've had for yrs here. When i went down to the plow match in KY, i found some gas at $3.15 back in October. It took a month for it to come down to that here. Ussally we get the down 2 cents and then back up a dime a few days later. Anyone else have lower gas prices now, when theres no shows to go to?

We're down to around $3.47 a gallon right now, was up around $3.90 a few months ago here in Mass, on the down side I've noticed diesel has gone up about 12 or 13 cents in the last week to $4.00 a gallon!

We're hanging around $3.50 here give or take.  I don't really know what diesel is because I only use about 5 gallons a year.  It's beyond me why diesel is more expensive than gas though.  I know, I know, the gov't want to discourage us from using diesel because it hurts the environment, blah, blah, blah.

It's running around $3.15 in Central Texas.  You would think as much oil as we produce and with the refineries here it would be cheaper.  Got down to $2.92 just before Christmas but then jumped over night to $3.09 and then another jump to where it is now.

It is 3.05 here in Des Moines.  But Hy Vee Grocery and Casey's General Stores have a Tie-in deal based on your grocery bill you get a discount on thegas. Last week I got $.28(cent) discount per gallon . That's nice!

On the Gas Tax thing, there is likely to be a move to raise gas tax in Iowa when the state legislature convenes this month. Arguement is that "they have not raised the gas tax for 15 yrs"?

That's what I call Stinkin thinkin!

If you boys want to complain about gas prices come up to canada, $1.22 a liter, 4 1/2 liters = 1 gallon = $5.49 a gallon for regular, and that is down from the summer when it was $1.45 a liter, our dollar is equal to yours too (lucky us or we'd would pay even more) its pretty bad when you start thinking about gas consumtion when running around the yard on your gt
