Once again, I'll be heading the VGTCOA Expo for 2013. The  expo will be held in conjunction with the Miami Valley Steam Threshers show in Plain City, OH July 18-21. The show feature will be garden tractors and  you don't have to be a member of the VGTCOA to display your garden tractors at this event. The Bantam collectors reunion is already schedued to be there too. Hopefully we will be able to accomodate other collector groups also. Contact me for further info. The show I organized in 2010 had nearly 1000 garden tractors in attendance. i'm looking for this one to be bigger yet! Your participation will help. Looking forward to seeing you there! Doug T

That's one of three that I plan on making it to this year.

Columbus isn't all that far, and I think I should be able to squeeze the HDT1000 and one of the G11s on the trailer :D

Might even have room for an attachment or two as well.

Man, not even hour and half drive for me, but that's the first weekend of our county fair, I'll be moving animals that weekend.

I'm still working on preparations for this one. Hopefully we will have a display by family members of Frank B Held that produced the Gro-Mor garden tractor. He had exclusive rights to the first Briggs and Stratton engine to be used on the garden tractor. The contract was signed in 1920. We will come very close to spanning a full 100 yrs of garden tractors.

Looks like a change in my plans for this one. I got my own trailer since my first post. :D :D :D

So...IF I can get the Bolens Fork Lift running I'll bring that, and the HDT1000.  If room and 'weight' on the trailer allows I'll bring a G11 as well.

Well, at first, I was planning on coming down, but then the Erie, MI plow day kinda put a crimp in those plans.

Now however, they have had too much rain up there and the plow day is canceled.

So, I guess I will be showing up after all,  I'm planning on bring the HDT1000, a G11, and my EK7.

The HDT will probably be 'bare' except for the 3-pt, but I think I'll put the dethatcher on the G11, and the reel mower on the EK.

Wife is looking forward to the trip :D :D :D

I took Fri and Sat off to go to the Electric tractor get together in Vermont, that has being canceled.

So I thought I'd go to Erie MI Plowday but mother nature isn't cooperating.

That means I'm going to this event on Sat to see the show.
