What tillers would fit on a 1886? Are there one or two tillers that fit the large frames or are they more specific to tractor model? Also what is the average cost and how hard are they to find?

Info On Large Frame Tillers (1886)?

Any large frame tiller will fit the 1886. The problem is there was 3 different driveshaft lenghts. You can use a tiller from a 1250 on the 1886 but the driveshaft will be two short. I don't have the lenghts handy but i think one size was for the 1250-1477 one for the 1886-01-04 and another fot the 1886-05 thru the HT23

To go into this a little deeper of what Bob said a tiller that fits a 1250 - 1886 with not fit a HT18 and newer large frame because the arms on the tiller will hit the frame.

Thanks. I was looking at the attachment interchange manual and it seems to be a pain finding the correct tiller for the 1886. I am not as worried about the drive shaft as that is easily lengthened or shortened, just getting the correct arms would be a task.
