I was laidoff 19 months ago. Working around the house is great. Not having the income and being old and not wanted stinks. Its a good thing that I'm a swamp yankee(that means very cheap) and don't need alot to get by. Many others are hurting these days.

I understand where you are, I've been there, now self employed so it's do or die for me :D ,

but these NHL players and owners I could care less about their $$ problems.

P.S. I'm a old yankee too, plus a scot  you want to talk about cheap :bigrofl: :bigrofl:

I agree John, millionaires and billionaires fighting over money doesn't bother me, especially when they are shooting each other in the foot.

I'm not a hockey player...heck I don't even play one on TV, but for $637 a day I'll don the uniform and pretend (as long as I don't actually have to play LOL). My heart really bleeds for those poor, poor men...NOT!

The big football strike in the 80's did me in for most professional sports. Until I read this thread and watched the video, I didn't even know they were on strike.

Will, I don't know how I'll explain it to my wife, but I want to help. Please put me down for $0. It's the least I can do to show these poor men how much I care. As a matter of fact, I'm getting emotional here, so please note I am committing to doubling that donation. Yep, that's right guys, TWO donations of $0.00

Tell them I don't want the financial records, I don't think I could handle it, might have a moment of weakness and triple my commitment.

Forget about the Hockey players, how much for that shed in the video? I'd throw in a couple bucks for that!
