Some of might remember last spring, my FIL & MIL's house was destroyed by fire in N. Carolina. They decided not to rebuild on the lake lot, but move back up the road to their home place. FIL really out did himself this time and he has built some really fine home, he is an Unlimited General Contractor. He started out by building a barn for storage, but decided to put an apartment in it to live in while building their house. One thing led to another and now he has something very cool.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 180.jpgThis view you can see the second barn he is building for storage, he needed more barn.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 182.jpgView of outside entrance to the 2nd story rooms, where we stay.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 184.jpgTool room with toilet and laundry sink.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 185.jpgBays are deep enough for 20' Bass Boat on trailer with several feet of room behind.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 186.jpgAccess door in floor of 2nd story, 3,000lb. winch lift to put stuff in loft.

attachicon.gif1-3-13 Brians phone 187.jpg2nd story loft, for storage. My BIL had his Wedding here in Nov.

That seems like paradise to me! very, very, nice

WOW- I am so jealous, as I can see a bunch of others are also. That is some kind of place, looks like it has been well thought out and it shows. Good craftsmans--man cave, my a$$, man castle is right on.
