You might be a Red-Neck if your Christmas lights are also your 4th of July decorations!
That's exactly why my wife won't let me decorate for Christmas outside anymore. She knows it will be June, July or August until I take them down, and she said it is quite embarrassing. Now I'm not allowed to do it anymore. Got out of that project in just one year!

Christmas lights are always up on the house--- they fit under the deck eave so haven't faded in 23 years-- we just don't turn them on after Jan. 15 or so. But, we start lighting them for Saternalia by Dec. 17, and they pretty well stay on 'til after Ukranian Christmas. Olde Deeres know how to party!!!

Our inside lights & tree are down. I'm planning on taking the lights off my semi & moving it back up by the shop tomorrow.
