When I logged on

I was sad to hear

About your hurt leg

That landed you on your rear

Don't be too concerned

That you did something dumb

I've done so many

It would make your head numb

I know that this time

Can be a real bummer

But at least you can be glad

That it is not summer

During the winter

The winds they will blow

But you can say "kids,

Go shovel the snow."

I know you're frustrated

I feel for your plight

I too would be bored

After just one day and night

But you must take this time

And let your leg heal

So you can get back

To your tractors with zeal!

Don't try too early

That decision is poor

You don't want to stretch

This thing out any more

Just sit back and relax

And listen to the doc

You've got the best entertainment

On GTTalk!

Ok, I hear you
I'll sit and obey.
Get all healed up
so I can go play.

Thanks for the wishes
and all your advice.
I'm sorry for venting
You've all been so nice.

I'll wait it out
let healing take it's time.
It'll be so boring
but I think I'll be fine.

I may read a book
or a manual or two.
Won't be so bad
Boy the time flew.

I'll sit and I'll rest
Just waiting for Spring.
Before too long
I'll forget about this thing.

Soon it will be
that no muscle is tore.
Can't wait for the day
when again I can restore.

Thank you guys
my extended Family!
It means so much
that you care about me.

One day I will meet you
we'll talk face to face.
So greatful I met you
by joining this place.

You guys are not right. :rolling:

I'm just thankful no one has resorted to limericks or iambic pentameter.

To sit and watch

is not your style

but sit you must

for a short while

Your leg will heal

in time for sure

you ego deflated

and just as sore

Follow all orders

obey them true

watch your step

what ever you do

So sit on your butt

with a tall glass

of something amber

and time will pass

Your leg all healed

and mended well

back to the shop

with stories to tell

There once was a man from Litiz

Whose messed up leg made him sitiz

He was all bummed out when he said with a pout

I can only get up to...

I'll leave the rest to you.  This is a family board!

Sorry Alan, you started it!

Good reading this morning! Troy, just think of all the things you can plan out for this Spring. You'll get better as time goes by and be back amongst the tractors soon.

Well I'm not about to try to compete with this!! Troy get well soon. In the meantime you might send the kids to the shop to get them and you can study your tech/service manuals?
