We're in Canada this year, Amber my fiance', her papa passed away. It's a sad note around the home, but we're trying to make the best of it.

Smoked meat, and misc things we can cook up this year. Nothing special.

Usually we do finger foods & snacks on New Year's eve... this year I'm making pizza & wings. Comfort food for us displaced Western New Yorkers :D

First pic is right out of the oven, second is of the sauce. And the last one is done!

That looks truly delicious.  Please thank your wife for making my mouth water.

I made plain cheese, garlic, veggie and pepperoni pizzas for the fiances family.  Everyone brought something.

Every year I do broiled lobster tails, crab legs and fillet mignon for my wife and I. It's a lot safer than going out. Tastier too.

Yesterday I made potato soup, today I made chicken and sausage gumbo.  The soup was good, but the gumbo is awesome!

Well we stayed home today, and with all the cooking I did the other day, the only thing special today will be fried Blackeyed peas.
