A friend of mine wants to buy this. It's got a snowblower, 60" deck and 60" sickle bar. He is  only interested in the blower and would be looking to sell the mowers if he buys it. We are going to look at it tomorow. Too bad the sickle wont fit on my 712h or anything else I have, or would it? $2200 sounds a bit steep though, what do you guys think?

I think it's a pretty good deal, but prices are always high here.  It looks to be in pretty good shape. What's the hour count?

That sickle bar looks sweet too. You might be able to find a way to adapt it if it doesn't fit your machines. There is nothing like a sickle bar for cutting high grass.

That does look real nice. What is the second tractor shown in the last picture?

Nice 620. Those are almost a compact tractor. I think the weight is listed at about 1300lbs. Pretty much the largest GT out there. With a 3speed transmission they are capable of some real work. I'd say it's worth the price if it is healthy. We pay even higher prices down here in NS than in Ontario though.

The last picture is the same tractor with the hood in primer. He said he repainted the hood when he added the new exhaust stack because he had to cut a hole in it or something.

That is a fine deal there!  Can't beat these tractors.....without a diesel anyway.

Yeah, my buddy bought it. I got to drive it onto the trailer. Bent his wimpy aluminum ramps. I got the two mowers in my garage as we speak. That sickle is huge. I think my 712 would tip over if I tried to put it on. I have a feeling that tractor might be mine in a couple years when he gets tired of the maintenance and all the little stuff to fix on it. Anyways he got it for $2000, guy wouldn't budge from there.

The meter said 1725 hrs but the seller said he wasn't sure if the meter was always working, so could be more. It also has an automotve style alternator mounted under the hood run off an extra pulley added to the clutch pulley. Now that I think of it, i'm not sure if it was always on or just when the clutch is engaged! The primer hood is the way it looks now, he took the stack off, patched the hood, and installed a stock looking muffler. Good idea in my opinion. The rear PTO was not functioning, as he handed us the shaft and clutch to put in the back of the truck. Also the 60" deck had no blades on it, but all the bearings seemed good.

Tell your buddy, congratulations on his purchase. I was the #1 viewer to see it, when it got listed, and if

it hadn't been for the 6 hour drive each way, it would be in my shop now. :smilewink:  I hope he enjoys it.

Rob told me, he had that engine rebuilt at about 1000hrs. I've been looking for one of those for a couple

of years now. Maybe next time.
