Ok, here are some pics of my latest resto project. So far I have taken it mostly apart, and stripped and primed most of my pieces. I have the wheels and tires in the truck, so I can have the tires taken off and tubed (they are filled with water) so here we are!

A David Bradley was my first tractor restoration project (when I was 16). I am going to guess that your tires have Calcium Chloride in them. Anyway, thanks for the pics, keep us up to date.

yes im guessing it aint just water either. Nasty stuff that calcuim, just about ruins anything it touches. Make sure you clean the inside of the rims real good. Sometime sandblasting doesnt get rid of the salt thats in the solution, and it will come back though the paint and eat way again. I always use an acid primer, and it seems to stop the process. Always unbolt all the parts or the rust will creep out of the crack between the two parts and ruin your paint job later on, ussally right after the first time you get it rained on.

Well, I got a little painting done and things are starting to come together. All I have to do now is strip and prime the wheels and get the 5 horse in from amigatec and I'll be done.
