Welcome to GTT

Did you hear any strange noises before it stopped?

Did you check to see if the drive shaft was still spinning while running?

It's odd that it just stopped without any clues. You should be able to put it in gear, push it, and see where the disconnect is in the drivetrain. Hopefully it's something simple and not inside the transmission.

Does this model have the freewheeling pin on the axel like the older ones did?

Not knowing Bolens, I'd say that's a possibility.

After reading up on your model it appears this is a belt driven model.....

How does the drive belt look?

Could it be possible its worn out or got thrown off an idler pulley.

Does one wheel turn opposite to the other when jacked up. If so, that's normal differential action. Since the engine is not loaded down there is obviously something disconnected somewhere. I'd check the belt drive as per Dr Bolens' prescription!

Well it looks like a snap ring broke in the right axle got to tear the rearend apart to fix it. Is this a common problem. This is my first bolens
