I have a line on a Woods post hole digger for less than it would cost me to rent a tracked post hole digger for the weekend. Problem is, it's recommended for 25-65hp tractors. Does anyone have any experience using oversize implements on a subcomact tractor like this? I need to dig about 30 post holes, so I'm wondering if I only use the 9" bit (instead of the 12" bit it is capable of running), should a GT20 be able to do the job?

It would have to be cut down to fit the tractor and it would still be a hand-full for the smaller tractor to handle. Plus it will be a 540rpm digger...what's your PTO speed....2,000rpm? If it's 2,000...no go.

Good catch! I assumed it was 540, but I just checked the manual and it's 3250. What the heck good is a rear PTO that spins at 3250? Any idea where I can get a 6:1 reduction drive?
