So yesterday Craig's list was offline until around noon, It just came back online and then the Power went off.. Well it was about Lunch time so I decided to take the wife uptown for something to eat.
I joke about living in a small town (Ellenboro has a bar and 8 houses in it) and we don't really think about drugs,killing,theft etc. very much.
About a Quarter of a mile up the road we saw a Pickup in the ditch with a sheared off power pole and high line wires on the highway. We stayed on the scene until the police department showed up so no one would drive into the wires.
Today the following article was posted on a local news board, Ya know it just about sends shivers down my back to realize that we were dealing with a lot more than high line wires on the road.
The power pole was broken off and power lines were across the roadway.
K-9 A-Rod was then deployed around Caya’s vehicle and alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics. Caya and his vehicle were searched. Officers found suspected crystal methamphetamine (Meth) and marijuana on Caya.
Caya also had a loaded handgun in his pocket. Officers also located marijuana, meth paraphernalia and other drug paraphernalia in the vehicle as well as 6 other loaded handguns and rifles including an AR-15 assault rifle. All of the firearms were loaded and had several loaded magazines.
