Yes it true i might be going to the dark side. I might swap my 86 Firebird and the Yard Machine for a JD242 since the Cub 126 still needs a few parts i need something big enough for my blade. Does anyone own a JD GT242?

I have not owned or used one, but is should be a good GT, it has a 14HP Kawasaki single, 6 forward/1 reverse gear drive trans., electric pto clutch. Production was from 1993 to 1998.

I have a GT275 whidh is a little bigger, mine has the 17 hp.while the GT242 has the 14 hp. and mine weights about 30 #'s more, other than that they are a good solid tractor and easy to work on.
