As some of you may know, I've been fighting with an oil leak around the control pintles on the pump portion of my Vickers T66X hydro. This appears to be a common problem. So much so that Simplicity and/or Vickers put out a service bulletin on how to do the rebushing. Does anyone have it?

If you would go to google and search for the model of your pump there is a little comes up about it.

I've been to Google with dozens of different search words. I can't find it. That's why I'm asking the old hands that frequent this establishment.

What I did in google search in entered vicker t66x and it gave me about 6 or so different articles but no service bullentin. It did nave a manual that opened up.
Once you get into the different items one is titled Vicker trans. sales a service witha phone number of 1-800-398-5733
this looked like a good site that may be able to help you.

O.K. got a web site for you to go to: www.vickershydraulicpumprepair

You will need to put a dot com at the end of that, the web site won't let me do that.

I'm hoping to drop the housing off at the machine shop on Wednesday (January 2, 2013) and would really like to have that Service Bulletin.  Anyone?

I spent a couple of hours searching, and sent a email to a Simp guru. I got nothing, sorry I couldn't come through.

Ticks me off, I was hoping to pull that one out of my behind.

Thanks for trying, Cat385B.  Can't ask for more than that.  I'm hoping the Service Bulletin will answer the inevitable questions the machinist is going to have: brass or steel, press fit, how thick a bushing, etc...  I don't even know what I don't know at this point.

"There was a place in Illinois called Central Hydraulics that would install pintle shaft bushings."

Now I can't find the thread where it mentioned bronze bushings...... :wallbanging:
