Not sure what year this is, but looks complete to me, not being a big Bolens guy.

Going to try and make a deal on it, it is setting behind a 100 year old Hardware Store I buy supplies from from time to time. I didn't know they had stuff stuck between 2 buildings.

Think my wife will like it for Christmas?

Wow, I'm sure she'll love it.
Actually, sh found out you're getting her that... Not to spoil your gift, but she got you a sleeper sofa for the garage

Seriously, nice find. Is the mower rusted out yet?

She only bought me a cot, the girls can't keep a secret.

Mower deck looks good from what I can see, I didn't want to drool all over it with excitement and make them think it's worth more then it is.

Yes no drooling is probally good. In the picrture i see the hard to come by belt cover. Most of these ara missing fromthe tractors. looks to be a complete versa matic, with recoil start another hard to find option.

Glad you are looking at a tractor. when io first saw this i thought you was shopping for another wife, and that cant be good.

No, not shopping for another one of those, it took too long for her to get me trained, I can't go through that again. :wallbanging:

The B&S is right for this, that mower deck is a harder thing to find.

Easily distracted? :bigrofl:

Owner was very busy and told me to come back after first of year to discuss.

Don't think I've ever noticed one of these with the Briggs. I thought they used the Kohler K90 or K91??

I'm wondering what exactly you were shopping for behind the back of an old hardware store. By the looks of it, in the dark alley alongside the building, next to the old 'Chuck's Get-Gas-N-Go' building? Hmmmmm? Black market two-stroke oil? Leaded, non-ethanol gas? Vented gas cans? DDT?

Come on, fess up.....
