The YT's are Gilson built, probably '84 or newer. We usually date from the engine numbers.

From NH parts I saw model numbers : 09HE2865, HE2883, and such.  09JC is Jacob, 09GN in Gilson.  Who is HE.  I was chasing mud wasps in my barn last summer and I pulled a big yellow manual from bookshelf .  They had a big glob on a tab so I opened the book and there was Ford riders.   the manual was Hahn-Eclipse.

Very likely that's who made them then!

Hi everyone! I just got this ford 80 tractor of Craigslist. I know there is not a lot of them left. I was wondering if someone could tell me a little more about it! I do not have the serial number yet.

Welcome "sap happens" to the site. Those are made by Jacobsen , should have an 8hp kohler in it. made '65-'69?  Based on the mower deck , I'd say early. The bigger , later ones used an aluminum deck. Does it run?
