Iam trying to find out what year my ford LGT 145 is . I believe it's between 1972-1976 . Trying to locate a gas tank and cap with shut off valve.

Welcome! Is your Ford an 'open-side' or closed like my avatar? Open side is '72-'76!

hello,

just a question, i do not see any 12 hp hydro models referenced for 1967. does that mean none were built? i have serial number 53093-6616, and was told it was a 67 when i purchased it second / multi hand for $500, including mower deck, snow thrower, and trailer all ford marked. gerry

ps, it is clearly marked as a ford 120

That is just a list I have been compiling for all owners. Most of the info I gathered from manuals and New Holland Parts, so may  have discrepancies. With your serial, I would think it may be considered a '68. I see I have possibly a typo or something wrong as there is no '67 listed. Let me dig into things. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!

Edit: I just checked New Holland and this is what I get for the 53093 model. Maybe they have a glitch!

I edited the original post to add in another list that is more complete than the one I was working on.

Noob here, hoping someone can help me out. I just picked up a 120? yesterday. The serial number range in the chart does not make sense for my new tractor.
My serial number is: 53250 2119. Engine S/N: K301 D058240. Trying to decipher what year this tractor is. This
looks like a great site, with very helpful people. I'm sure I will be visiting frequently since this is now my 2nd antique garden tractor. I also have a 444 Case that is 75% restored. Thanks in advance for any help!

I can't guarantee all the info posted is correct. And your tractor proves that. The engine serial (D058240) puts this as a 1968 model. I can add that in as I compiled most of that info from the New Holland site. I think they have deleted a lot of that info as I am unable to find these older model #'s there any more!

Thanks for the quick reply KennyP! I have learned a lot about the Cases over the years but know nothing about the Fords. It fits right in in my herd though since I am a die hard Ford truck guy! I also own a 1720 Ford Diesel with a loader that I love. Thanks for the quick
response again!

Hey Gerry,

I don't know if Ford offered a 120 in 1967, but Kohler did introduce the K-301 in early 67 and it was used on several different brands of GT's in 1967.

Have you got the engine serial? That may help with getting better info posted.
