I was having trouble coming up with an idea for a Christmas gift this year and finally landed on a set of new shoes ... new shoes for my Wheel Horse 312-8. Got a set of Carlisle Tru Power's in 23x8.50-12's that should be in tomorrow from my local industrial tire shop.

These should go nicely with the Deestone tri ribs that I bought for a previous project :)

New shoes for my tractor is better than new work boots for myself! Make sure you put them in the house a while before attempting installing them. A cold tire is near impossible to change, as you likely know too well.

I've got a set of ag tires I purchased for my wife and kids to gift to me for Christmas.....so I know the feelings. Pics would be great when they "roll" into town. Congrats.

That reminds me to get a new pair for myself! Pics of yours installed will be nice to see. I take Daniels advice and warm things up first, especially the old ones for removal!

Those are a nice tire. Lug spacing is closer than on some of the more aggressive AG's out there for a smoother ride and less damage on lawns etc. I had a set of 26x12/12's on a JDx475 and they were great.

After playing on the pulling circuit this year I personly like the Duro brand the best, awesome tread design and they are almost half the price. I'll be shoeing up both my rigs with them this spring. 23-10.50-12's for them . :)
