To bad I didn't still live in NC. That seems like a good price even if it was just for that one.

Definitely a 55 series what with the 6 lug hubs/rims. But either a repowered Massey, or more likely it's a Snapper 1655. I can't find any info on what engines Snapper had available in them.

Snappers had the same engines as masseys. From the looks of the tin on the engine I am thinking it still has an onan.

I wish! I gotta sale a few I have around here and finish the 1650 i have torn down. I am hoping one of our local members will pick it up. We have an ebay seller in the area that gets this stuff on a deal and then sells it high. I dont want him to get it. He once picked up a Simplicity with tiller for free off of CL and then listed it for $1000.Its good that he makes a profit but I have a realjob and cant just cruise Cl all day and jump when a deal comes up.

I've been eyeing that one coldone. But right now I'm neck deep in auto repairs, out about 800 for a driveshaft on my truck, trying to fix a leaking rear axle and that will be costly too. Just don't see spending the money, even if I could resell the other stuff. Plus I'd have to sell one of my other Masseys.
