What's it doing? Maybe we can offer some advice.

The other day I notice my cooling fan would run then slow down and then run. I decided to shutdown and take a look and sure enough it (think the mechanic;s car) needed some maintenance. Go my can of air out and cleaned all the insides and now it runs like a top again except I need to replace the BIOS Battery.

If you do need to replace it wait until after Christmas and you should be able to get a pretty good deal. Also since you use Linux watch out for the Secure Boot Technology. There are several online shops that you can custom order a computer with Linux pre-installed.
